Good morning, Ghana. Here is your Tuesday briefing, October twenty-seventh. The Foreign Affairs Ministry is reminding Ghanaian traders that ECOWAS citizens may visit member states for up to ninety days without a visa, with valid travel documents. The Youth Employment Agency says it recruited one hundred thousand, six hundred and twenty-eight beneficiaries by September thirtieth, reaching nearly seventy-six per cent of its annual target. That is the agency’s reported figure. Residents around Bundase are being warned not to panic at gunfire or explosions as the Armed Forces prepare a live-fire demonstration for Friday. The military says safety measures are in place. In Kenya, twenty contacts linked to the country’s first imported Bundibugyo Ebola case have completed quarantine without symptoms. WHO says ninety-eight contacts remain monitored, and there is no evidence of community spread. Today’s thought: Good information helps people prepare. Have a community story? Link below. I’m Kofi.
