GES asks 2026 promotion applicants to check their status today

GES asks eligible applicants in the 2026 promotion exercise to check their status on 15 October.

Applicants in the Ghana Education Service's 2026 promotion exercise have been asked to check the status of their applications on Thursday, 15 October.

A notice dated 14 October, reproduced by MyJoyOnline, instructs Regional Directors of Education to communicate the information to eligible applicants. The letter is signed by Deputy Director-General Munawaru Issahaque on behalf of the Director-General.

Applicants should obtain the designated portal through the GES notice or their regional administrative channels. Checking an application status should not be confused with confirmation of a promotion or payment of arrears. The notice concerns the application exercise; it does not establish that any particular applicant has received a salary adjustment.
